Thoughts, in any nation, are the greatest fortune the nation gains in her life if the nation is newly born; and they are the greatest gift that any generation can receive from the preceding generation, provided the nation is deep-rooted in the enlightened thought.

How the Khilafah was destroyed How the Khilfah was Destroyed

The fierce struggle between the Islamic thoughts and the Kufr thoughts, and between the Muslims and the Kuffar, has been intense ever since the dawn of Islam. When the Messenger of Allah (saw) was sent, the struggle was only an intellectual one, and was not associated with any material struggle. This status quo continued until the Islamic State was established in Madinah, whereupon the army and the authority were established and since then, the Messenger of Allah (saw) combined the material struggle with the intellectual struggle.

The Islamic State The Islamic State

The present generation does not recall the Islamic State that implemented Islam, and those who lived during the last years of the Islamic State (‘Uthmani Khilafah) against which the West had directed its onslaught, had in fact witnessed the vestiges of a state implementing remnants of Islamic rule. It is extremely difficult therefore for many Muslims to percieve the structure of the Islamic government. The minds of the Muslims have been consumed by the present day situation, and can only conceptualize the system of government through the depraved democratic regimes foisted upon Muslim countries.

Social System Book The Social System in Islam

Peoples’ conception, especially the Muslims, of the social system in Islam has become extremely confused. Their understanding is far removed from the reality of Islam due to their alienation from its thoughts and rules. They went to the extreme, holding the view that a woman has the right to be in seclusion (Khalwa) with a man as she wished, or that she can go out with her ‘Awrah uncovered wearing whatever she pleased. Others went far to the other extreme taking the view that women do not have the right to practise trade or meet with men under any circumstances, and viewed the whole of the woman’s body as ‘Awrah including the hands and face. Due to this extremism there was degeneration of morals and a stagnation of thinking (Tafkeer). The results of all this has been the break up of the social aspect, unrest within the Muslim family, the prevalence of dissatisfaction and discontent amongst family members, and numerous disputes and divisions between its individuals.

Nidham The System of Islam (Nidham al-Islam)

Man revives (yanhaDu) according to what he carries of thought (fikr) about man, life and the universe, and about their relationship, as a whole, with what preceded this life and what comes after it. Hence, in order for man to revive (yanhaD), it is necessary to radically and comprehensively change his current thought (fikr) and generate another thought (fikr) for him. This is because it is the thought (fikr) that generates the concepts about things and consolidates them. Man shapes his behaviour (sulook) in this life according to his concepts (mafaaheem) about it.

44 Ways of Supporting Jihad

By Anwar al-Awlaki. Jihad is the greatest deed in Islam and the salvation of the ummah is in practicing it. In times like these, when Muslim lands are occupied by the kuffar, when the jails of tyrants are full of Muslim POWs, when the rule of the law of Allah is absent from this world and when Islam is being attacked in order to uproot it, Jihad becomes obligatory on every Muslim. Jihad must be practiced by the child even if the parents refuse, by the wife even if the husband objects and by the one indebt even if the lender disagrees. Dear brothers and sisters the issue is urgent since today our enemy is neither a nation nor a race. It is a system of kufr with global reach. The kuffar today are conspiring against us like never before. So could we be heading towards the great battle between the Romans and the Muslims – Al Malhamah – which the Prophet (saaws) spoke about?

  • The Spiritual Cure

The Spiritual Cure, An Explanation To Surah Al Fatihah, A summary of Numerous Classical Commentaries of The Quran The underlying theme of al fatihah is one of contemplation and serenity; pondering the Names and Attributes of Allah, pondering the creation and acknowledging that He alone deserves praise and worship, that He alone should be asked for help, that He alone should be feared and hoped in that He alone should be invoked that there is indeed a Day of Judgement and that guidance has come to us and we are required to follow it. It calls us to carefully scrutinise our relationship with our Lord: are we living according to the dictates of ‘none has the right to be worshipped save of Allah’ or not? This opening chapter, despite its brevity, calls man to fulfil the rights of Tawhid, the right that Allah has over us to worship Him alone without any partners, in thirty places. This chapter summarises succinctly the message of the whole Quran Click to enlarge

  • Men and The Universe

Reflections of Ibn Al-Qayyem. This book was originally a section of Ibn Al-Qayyim’s book Miftaahu Daar is-Sa’aadah (Key to the Abode of Happiness). This section was extracted from it due to its discussion of some of the Signs of Allah in the human beings and the universe. Also, Ibn Al-Qayyim’s book was chosen due to its perceptive and meaningful wisdom. Another outstanding characteristic of this book is that Ibn-Al-Qayyim calls for the use of the intellect and self-introspection. He encourages the reader to deeply think about the creation of Allah, the Most High — in the human being, existence, animals and nature. The complier, Capt. Anas Abdul-Hameed Al-Qoz, supports the writing of Ibn Al-Qayyim by mentioning modern scientific discoveries, useful notes and beneficial pictures that help achieve the objective. Thus, this book is a continuous and active call to all of mankind to look and reflect upon the Signs of Allah if they want the truth and sincerely wish to follow it. We will show them Our Signs in the universe and in themselves until it becomes clear to them that it is the truth.

  • Signs of ar-Rahman in Jihad of Afghan

This book was written by Shaykh Abdullah Azzam during the Afghan-Soviet Jihad in the 1980’s. It deals specifically with first hand accounts of the miracles that occured during this Jihad. Shaykh Abdullah Azzam writes, ‘These incidents which are going to be narrated are, in reality, more extraordinary than one can possibly imagine, and appear to resemble fairytales. I have personally heard them with my own ears; and have written them with my own hands from those Mujaahideen who themselves were present. I have heard these miracles from such men who are trustworthy and reliable, and who have been constantly on the battlefield. The miracles are many, so much so that they more or less reach the degree of Tawaatur i.e. such a large number that does not entertain the possibility of fabrication. I have heard numerous such miraculous episodes, but brevity does not allow me to enumerate all of them.

In this volume, we have presented from them the signs of the Hour and the events that are yet to take place, although mentioning very few examples of those prophesies that have already been realized.

The World of Jinn & Devils

By Umar S. Al-Ashqar Islamic Creed Series. The World Of The Jinn & Devils; In the Light of the Qur’an and Sunnah

What are jinn and devils? Where do they live? How do they impact our life? This pioneering book draws from the Qur’an and hadith in answering questions about the critical Islamic belief in Al-Ghaib, the unseen. It discusses the wisdom behind their creation, interaction with humans, eyewitness accounts, need for knowledge about them and common misconceptions about their power. The book argues that despite the dominant secular worldview that dismisses any un-observable phenomenon as non-existent, humans believe in the unseen. Furthermore, it is important to understand their place in creation to avoid satanic influences and come closer to Allah.

    The Giant Man

“For history to write, and for the Muslims to bear witness: that we were killed for the Sake of Allāh, upon our Islāmic principles and everlasting ‘Aqīdah – is better to us with Allāh, than history being written while the Muslims bearing witness against us, that we lived in health and comfort after we have compromised our principles and abandoned the Banner of Jihād. And whoever thought that the Islāmic State will be blessed with dominance without trials and tests, then he is an ignorant one who does not know the biography of the Prophet, صلى الله عليه وسلم.” “Amīr Al-Mu’minīn, Al-Mulla Muhammad ‘Umar Mujāhid”
