Anwar Al-Awlaki is an extremist wahabi salafi who preaches hate and justifies terrorism. Muslims should stay away from his dangerous rhetoric.

Imam Awlaki is a beautiful speaker. His knowledge and delivery are spellbinding and it’s easy to just sit and listen to him for hours. May Allah protect him!
What is beautiful about a man who teaches hate? This man supports violence. He just blogged that is was good that his follower in Texas shot and killed all those people on his very own website. There is no love with this man. Violence is not a path that Allah wants people to follow.
Is there an example of this terrorist support and hate mongering you can give from Imam Awlaki
s speeches? I have listend to several of his series on the prophets, on Abu Bakr As Siddiq and found only his insight into the former scholarship from classical scholars such as Suyuti and Tabari – were they hate mongers too?
Whoever wrote that the Shaykh is extremist.. etc etc looks to me from another Jamaath. Islam is in need of action and needs Shaykhs of the caliber of Sheikh Amwar to shake us from our comfort … the efforts which the Shaykh is putting is great…May Allah preserve him, and take him back to Him whenever he decideds to.

I don’t think the sheikh is radical per se, it’s his followers who go totally ballistic and support people like the taliban etc. which have very weak basis in islam. Yes, Jihad is important in Islam but it shouldn’t be the end all be all of our existence.

Imam Anwar Al-Awlaki is a disgrace among Muslims. He is a teacher of hate. He may read from the Qur’an but he certainly doesn’t follow its teachings. More like he contorts the good of the Qur’an to match his twisted heart and try and get others to see his sick and twisted view of how he would like to see the world.

Anybody who has the slightest understanding of Jihad relevant to todays time will say that Nidal Malik has done the greatest service to his religion and the people of the Ummah and set an example for what EVERY MUSLIM ought to do to stop the injustice the Ummah is suffering.What if Sk. Anwar said just that???May Allah keep our brother Nidal firm on his stance and make him the torch for the sleeping sons and daughters of the Muslim Nation.
For anonymous- Besides being a great Muslim, I read Malik- Hasan was also a great tipper at the strip club, Starz, he used to go to every week. imam anwar is not an extremist. everyone who i came upon who lable imam anwar as extremist, was a moderate Muslims who doesnt’ beleve in Jihad. I can’t believe there are people who would trust the western CONTROLLED media. how can a muslim trust a kuffar media?
@Ali, becoz they love the comfort the kuffar has offared them in europe and in the americas, for them who hate Imam Anwar love to be at peace with the status quo, so they beg at the hearts of the disbelievers, they dine with them though they kuffar hate them, they love the lavish lifestyles of the kuffar, they adore their social systems, love their ruling systems, love their financial systems and above all they adore their military might and strength.

Anwar Aw-Awlaki is not Salafi at All!
Anwar al-Awlaki: Anwar Al Awlaki is on the Manhaj of the Ikhwaan Al Muslimeen who have been heavily refuted by the scholars of As-Salafiyyah. Sheikh Bin Baaz said the Ikhwaan Al Muslimeen are the 72 Sects in the Hellfire! in generality. This is how deviant and misguided they are.

Salamu alykum to those who folow guidence. Imam Anwar AL-Awlaqi Is one of the Great scholers of our time. If he is one of the 72 sects then who would be the safe one ? IE the one who is on what Mohammad (SAW) and his companions were. I may not agree with him 100%, but Insha Allah he is one of the safe sect. To The Jewish person read your coomment and you will see who is the hateful one. If you go to Afghanistan I ask Allah to bring you , and hateful like you back in a bag body that is.
